The 26 July Year IV Episode of NXT is a Professional wrestling television show of the WWE NXT brand, produced by 2KEPGames and uploaded on their YouTube Channel, which took place on July 26 Year IV apart of the NXT Return to NYC Tour at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City, New York.
Summary
NXT General Manager Paul Heyman kicked off the show, welcoming the NXT Universe to the return of the hottest brand in Sports Entertainment.
In the first round of the NXT Women's Championship Tournament, the leader of the Riott Squad, Ruby Riott battled NXT's "Twisted Sister" Nikki Cross and the battle was red hot bell to bell with Riott leaving the victor following the Riot Kick. Riott has punched her ticket to NXT Takeover: Homecoming
Backstage, the "EST of NXT" Bianca Belair sent a message to her NXT Women's Championship Tournament opponent, Toni Storm proclaiming to "Stop the Storm before it begins"
In the first round of the NXT Tag Team Championship Tournament, the Undisputed Era's Kyle O'Reilly and Bobby Fish battled the Heavy Machinery and right out the gate Fish and O'Reilly played mind games against Dozovic and constantly lured him into a 2-on-1 situation before Tucker Knight fought back and had both men on the fence until O'Reilly gained the advantage and the rest went down hill for the two big men before Knight was met with Total Elimination, giving the win the TUE.
Backstage, Adam Cole staked his claim to be considered for the NXT Championship Match at NXT Takeover: Homecoming before being interrupted by Roderick Strong, effectively ending the interview
In the main event, Gentlemen Jack Gallagher battled EC3 with the winner officially qualifying for the NXT North American Championship Challenge at NXT Takeover: Homecoming and the contest saw both men lay it all on the line, including Gallagher with a headbutt and EC3 executing the TK3, both of whom kicked out, frustrating the "Top One Percenter", who laid out the official but that came back to haunt him when Gallagher pulled out brass knuckles from his tights and knocking out EC3 just as the official was regaining his composure and went on to defeat EC3, officially qualifying for NA Championship Challenge.
