Bio

While many fellow 15-year-olds were worried about sitting at the “popular table” at lunchtime, Drew McIntyre was already training to become a WWE Superstar. At the young age of 22, McIntyre skyrocketed from the independent scene to the big show. So much so, that when he first came to WWE, Mr. McMahon called McIntyre a “future World Champion.”

McIntyre hasn’t reached that goal, yet, though his early years in WWE resulted in an Intercontinental Championship and a WWE Tag Team Championship with Cody Rhodes. Years later, he rocked out alongside new compadres, fellow rockers Heath Slater and Jinder Mahal, as the memorable 3MB. In 2014, McIntyre was released from his WWE contract, and in response, he set out on a worldwide wrestling odyssey, transforming into one of sports-entertainment’s most in-demand players.

Despite interest from both Raw and SmackDown LIVE, McIntyre chose to sign with NXT in 2017, stating that he wanted to compete on the world’s toughest roster. He looks right at home, too. Decidedly more grizzled than the cherub-faced prodigy who received high praise from The Chairman, McIntyre loves nothing more than mixing it up in a brawl. When the big Scot enters the ring, the fight’s on.
