Bio[]

Asuka’s dominance is of historic proportions. Yet to be pinned or made to submit in NXT, The Empress of Tomorrow has been nothing short of unstoppable since her arrival in October 2015.

Marching to the ring in a traditional noh mask and kaleidoscopic battle gear and looking every bit the victor before the opening bell even rings, Asuka has trounced every Superstar thrown her way, from Nia Jax to Bayley (the latter of whom Asuka unseated as NXT Women’s Champion). All the while, the fierce Japanese Superstar has worn an intimidating smile on her face, seemingly finding joy in stretching out her overmatched challengers.

In May 2017, Asuka surpassed the 173-win milestone, breaking Goldberg’s record as the champion with the longest undefeated streak in WWE history. Though her legacy is already certain to live on in the history books, Asuka shows no signs of slowing down any time soon. It remains to be seen if anybody has an answer for The Empress of Tomorrow.

Throughout Universe Mode[]

Smackdown Live Debut[]

On Smackdown Live Episode 50, With NXT now retired and recently winning the NXT Women's Championship from Peyton Royce, Asuka made her way to Smackdown Live and took advantage of the "Land of Opportunity" by making quick work of former NXT Women's Champion Summer Rae, forcing her to tap to the "Asuka Lock", sending shockwaves throughout the WWE Women's Division. With the championship that is as good as the Money in the Bank briefcase, the Women's Champion (on RAW or Smackdown Live) has to be paranoid now that "The Empress of Tomorrow" has the ability to trade her NXT Women's Title for a shot at either the RAW or Smackdown Women's Title. On Smackdown Episode 51, Asuka continued her dominating undefeated streak by making quick work of Naomi. On Smackdown Episode 53, Asuka chased off Nia Jax, who was assaulting Smackdown Women's Champion Charlotte Flair.

On Smackdown Live Episode 54, Asuka made quick work of the debuting Mandy Rose with the Asuka lock, extending her undefeated streak. Impressed with her dominance as of late, Women's Official Consultant Stephanie McMahon added "The Empress" to the Smackdown Women's Championship Match at Judgment Day (making it a Fatal-4-Way Elimination Match). On Smackdown Live Episode 55, Asuka once again came face to face with Nia Jax, who was on another war path, but this time "The Empress" was on the receiving end of a headbutt from Jax and a spear from Flair (who was aiming for Jax).

Women's Champion[]

At Judgment Day, Asuka won the Smackdown Women's Championship in a Fatal-4-Way Elimination Match, also featuring Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss and Nia Jax.

Undisputed Empress[]

At Summerslam, She won the Undisputed Women's Championship Match against Becky Lynch, going nearly 30 minutes in the match overall
